Our visiting cosmetic nurse attends the clinic regularly to provide procedures and treatments. These include anti-wrinkle injections and hyaluronic acid fillers and chemical skin peels.

Anti-wrinkle injections remove frown and laugh lines from around the eyes and forehead. It has a potential side effect of paralysing the muscles it’s injected into which can cause a lack of expression in recipients. It’s still a very effective way to remove wrinkles and keep your skin smooth and wrinkle free. Effects wear off after a few months, requiring further treatment.

Hyaluronic acid fillers are injections and implant which are designed to smooth and fill laugh lines, frown lines and deep facial wrinkles. Hyaluronic acid fillers can also be used to contour the lips. It provides a smooth result and allows for continued fluidity of facial expression which can be an advantage over other treatments. Effects can last for up to eighteen months.

Skin peels remove the upper, damaged and exposed layer of skin, leaving new fresh unblemished skin underneath, often smoother and less wrinkled than the layer that was just removed. Just after treatment your skin might be red or scaly but once this settles down (it can take up to two weeks) the skin left behind will be smooth, bright and soft.
